According to a post on GoldCoast.com.au, the “mysterious little girl”, Gael, is played by stuntsman John Reynolds’ son, Jorel, just 10 years old.
The young star said he had bragging rights despite playing a female character.
“It’s good showing off at school and telling my friends,” he said.
“My dad said I’d be a stuntman when I was two but now I’ve finally made it.”
His dad is one of 10 stuntmen working full-time on location for the past eight weeks.
He heard about a need for more stuntkids last week and jumped at the chance to volunteer his son.
“I’ve been away a lot because of my job, but it’s been great having him on set and getting more quality time with him,” he said.

You did not see it coming because she is a girl…the stunt double will be used when they actually film her jumping off the DT into real water and not a soft surface. Long Live Aslan !!!
I…wha…uh… 8-{ That’s crazy.
Reynolds…that sounds familiar. I just can’t remember where I heard it before…
Absolutely hilarious.
Ha! That is awesome
Who is Gael? I’ve read the whole series many many times and never ever heard of hear… and the only character to jump overboard in the book was Reepicheep to challenge the mer-people and then they found the sweet water…
@Dani: Gael is not from the book. As far as we know right now, she’s been added in by the filmmakers.
