The Narnia Code: Discussions with Dr. Michael Ward

screen-shot-2009-09-18-at-32555-pm This past summer I was at the The Kindlings Fest on Orcas island and had the opportunity to interview a C.S. Lewis scholar, Dr. Michael Ward. Dr. Ward recently made a breakthrough discovery on the Chronicles of Narnia – which is outlined in the video interviews linked below. Dr. Ward has also joined the Aslan’s Country forum – so you have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have about his discovery.

We hope you enjoy the interviews and benefit from the forum discussion!

  1. Marshwiggle

I am blown away. Truly, from the interview with Dr. Ward to Aslans Country. I agree with Dr. Ward’s analogy regarding the Chronicles of Narnia holding ones interest and passion to learn more. As a Marshwiggle I have journeyed some years and the more I gain from Narnia the more I want. C.S. Lewis scholar was a brilliant man and God has used him mightily to draw our minds and hearts to that of Aslan’s. What amazes me even more is how the next generation continues forward such great classics

Lewis did not plant the series out in advance. He said so himself. He said he thought Wardrobe would be the only book. Then he was quite certain The Dawn Treader would be the last but of course he continued. Did he really intend to stop after just doing three planets? The theory just does not hold up. Very convinient of Dr. Ward to make this discovery…just in time for the PrinceCaspian movie release.
