From FlyBelfast.co.uk:
A new film is to be made in Belfast, chronicling the tales of a band trying to make its name at the same time as U2, which may interest fans of Ben Barnes, who is to play one of the lead roles.
Barnes – who starred in the recent adaptation of C. S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia – is to take on the part of Neil McCormick, author of autobiography I Was Bono’s Doppelganger, which the picture – called Killing Bono – is based on.
It tells the tale of two brothers who dream of achieving success as rock stars but come up against a rival group, U2.
Shooting is due to start on January 11th and others involved include Robert Sheehan, who is to play Barnes’ brother.
