Liam Neeson Quits Upcoming Film

Liam Neeson, who stars as the voice of Aslan, has dropped out of an upcoming film due to the “overwhelming grief and hectic timetable” after his wife passed away last year.

The Belfast Graph reports:

Since the death of his actress wife Natasha Richardson in a skiing accident last year Liam Neeson has immersed himself in work, finding some sort of comfort in his hectic schedule.

Despite his heartache the hard-working Ballymena man saw through the various movie commitments he had made prior to the accident — even lining up a few new projects.

But it seems his overwhelming grief — combined with a dizzying timetable — has finally caught up with the father-of-two.

Neeson has dropped out of a major new movie starring Jeremy Irons about the saint who brought Christianity to Scotland, citing his anguish following his wife’s death after an accident in Canada last March.

It could be possible that if The Silver Chair is going to be filmed, or any other Narnia movie, that Liam Neeson may not sign on board.

  1. Narniamiss

Oh dear, for a moment I thought I was reading his resignation for the Dawn Treader! I do hope he doesn’t say no to future Narnia projects; I’m not sure I could imagine anyone better as the voice of Aslan.

  2. Rishda Tarkaan

Well, if things are really getting that bad for him, I think he ought to. A lot of actors and actresses die from getting overstressed.

  3. Queen Emily

Oh dear it’s very sad imagine how much grief he feels,it will be a shame if he drops out of narnia because i can’t imagine aslan with any other voice but if he feels so bad maybe its for the best!
