The second clip is very interesting as it seems to show that the dragon cave is now more of a valley/dry river bed – probably part of how they have tied together the Deathwater + Dragon Island merger. Also somewhat odd that Caspian and Edmund should find the Dragon treasure as well, but oh well. Also very odd is that he takes the arm ring off the skeleton of Lord Octesian – i.e. no possibility of Lord Octesian being the dying Dragon that Eustace first encounters.

They’ve probably just cut the whole second dragon, to narrow down the plot.

I’m so excited…. as well as ticked. WHY ARE THEY TWISTING THE PLOT?!?! I am angry and elated; it looks like an amazing story…. by itself… but VDT the book is so much different. I thought they went over the top in PC, but just watching the trailers for this one have disappointed me. They’re trying to grow up a story that should stay young. VDT was always one of my favorites in the series, but I can barely recognize any of these scenes besides a faint imagination of what they could be. Also: the Ramandu’s daughter/Edmund/Caspian is the most absurd and frustrating ‘love triangle’.

Third clip also very interesting, as it has Eustace talking about being undragoned on their final row to Aslans Country – which does seem to confirm that after being “Dragoned” on the new “Goldwater Island” somewhere in the middle of the film, that he will spend the rest of the movie as a dragon (through Ramandu’s Island and Dark Island) and only just becomes a boy again in time for the end.

  3. Oh my goodness gracious me. This is going to be an amazing movie. One worry though…the camera isn’t very steady in any of the clips…gsh.

AWESOME!!!! =D =D =D Though some of you might think the videos aren’t much, but I think they’re GREAT so far and I can’t wait to see the whole movie!!! I enjoyed and loved those videos, especially the first one.

    And the second =)

    … And the third =D =D =D

  6. fionne

What I want to know is why Eustace called them orphans in the first clip.

  7. Philip

    I really dislike the montage.

  8. I can’t wait, oh I just can’t!
Georgie has grown up, she looks and sounds so much older than in Prince Caspian.

  11. I can not wait when it will hit on Sky television. Everybody will be grown up in the Dawn of Treader. What will happen with the water that has filled the room? It is in Corromandel filmed?

  12. LeaMaria

Icarus: that’s hardly the case with Eustace, because we can see him in his usual form with the Dufflepuds :)
    Certainly no dragon there..

  13. AslansLily

Great clips! I especially love Eustace’s performance. I watched them yesterday without sound. I’ll probably do the sound thing tomorrow or next week.

@LeaMaria: Dufflepuds – Magician’s Island – comes before Dragon Island according to Narnia.com’s treasure wheelchart. So it makes sense for Eustace to still be a boy there. But I would hate for him to be turned back into a boy just before AC! Nooo!
