Narnia.com Unlocks Narrowhaven

Narnia.com has unlocked another location on the map: Narrowhaven, in the Lone Islands. It still says “coming in September,” so you can’t disembark and explore just yet. But the location does have a really cool background! Click here for a direct link. When you do, you instantly receive 150 points.

In the picture below, you can see King Caspian, Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace, as well as a minotaur and possibly Lord Bern (the man with shoulder-length gray hair). He appears to be handing Caspian a sword. I wonder who it originally belonged to. The image is a bit shaky right now. I’m not sure why.

When you click on the sparklies in the background, you’ll see the following:

-Descriptions for a hidden water nymph (she’s beautiful) and Narrowhaven

-When you click on the lantern the Minotaur is holding, you can download a wallpaper image of the background.

-And there are four hidden items. I received 150 points for three, and 350 points for the last.

In the next few days, you should be able to explore Narrowhaven, find lots more hidden items, and play a game. So keep your eyes peeled on us and Narnia.com!

Thanks to NarniaWeb for the story!

  1. Lord Bern is seemingly handing Caspian one of the seven swords of the lost lords…

  2. Carol Tavares

i couldn’t find the one that gives 350 points.

  3. If you resize the window a bit, you can see more of the water nymph..

Funny, the only way I can access to Narrowhaven is by clicking on the direct link. When I tried to visit it on ship it said “Welcome to Narrohaven: Coming in September.” What!? Narnia.com has issues.

    • I mentioned the direct link vs ‘coming in September’ in the post, which I got from NW. Don’t ask me how they did that. Maybe we should try the direct method with other islands and see what happens.

  4. Wait a minute…why does the map say Goldwater island? There IS not Goldwater island. It’s called DEATHwater, not GOLDWATER!! This is SO wrong!! I hope this is not another book change! Deathwater is it’s rightful name. It brings death and destruction, not riches! This is one of the vital morals in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader! What do they think they’re doing?!

I think Caspian originally named it ‘Goldwater’ in the book before Reep changed it to ‘Deathwater.’ There’s nothing wrong with the change, Rishda! The island does have golden water, does it not? And others noticed this change a long time ago, i.e. when Narnia.com first became navigable.

      • I know Caspian originally named it Goldwater. But he was, you might call, under an enchantment from the gold. When Aslan came and snapped him back into his senses, the name settled as Deathwater. They island does bring gold, you are correct. But it also brings death. I don’t think they ought to be calling Goldwater. That’s not its correct name!

      • @Rishda: it’s not a big change, nothing like other changes we know they’ve made to VDT so far or even to Prince Caspian in 2008. This is minor. Maybe Caspian was under an enchantment, which was Reep’s observation. But I’m not convinced. He was simply tempted by the gold and turned into someone else. Temptation can do this, just like an enchantment…
