NarniaFans member ‘Benisse’ is inviting Narnia fans to join a book discussion of “Aslan’s Country.” The phrase and the country itself appear in three of Lewis’s Chronicles: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, and The Last Battle. Benisse’s husband, who leads a class for their daughter’s homeschool network in California, is providing materials for the discussion. It will include notes, a reading schedule, and questions. Because of the husband’s degrees in Greek, Hebrew, and the New Testament, there should be plenty of biblical comparisons with the Chronicles. Here’s a preliminary schedule:
September — Chronicles overview
October — Dawn Treader
November — Silver Chair
January 2011 — Last Battle
