MundoNarnia (via Twitter) reports a new international poster for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This one is in Spanish, with the tagline: “Embark on the journey. Live the adventure. Discover Narnia as you’ve never seen before.”
However, it’s not clear whether the poster is official or fan-made. Reepicheep looks right! But the White Witch looks rather odd, as does the Dawn Treader ship herself. The latter seems almost cartoonish. And the image of Aslan is different. Yet the human figures on the right, at the top of a hill, look pretty official! From left to right: Lucy, Caspian, Edmund, Eustace, Susan, and Peter. Why do Susan and Peter appear? And where are they?
So what do you think, Narnia fans? Is the poster official?

SO cool!
Woah…. bottom right? Do i see two extra kids??? At first i thought, maybe we’re finally seeing Gael again… but who’s the boy? Could it be Su and Peter?
It’s most likely Susan and Peter. Read the story.
LOL… i just clicked on the picture instead of reading…
So now the question is, do they actually come to where Caspian/Eustace/etc. are? Or were they just photoshopped into the poster?
I seriously cannot believe how bad that poster is. Don’t even get me started on the fact that it seems to be portraying the movie as a battle between Aslan and the White Witch…. but that image of the Dawn Treader! What were they even thinking! I know they’ve released promotional images before with the half-finished sail, but to not even photoshop out the scaffolding from the set!? It’s such a poor effort it’s almost embarrassing to think that it probably is real.
Exactly. The poor quality of the ship jarred me pretty badly! I cannot believe this is real. I want proof! And thanks for pointing out the scaffolding — just helps my argument! Still, I’m beginning to wonder if this is fan art, but with a new and legitimate movie still: the 6 figures on the right…
I’ve contacted Fox to see if this poster is official- which I highly doubt. I’ll post back here when I get a reply..
I like it! But why are Susan and Edmund on it?
Its most likely a marketing agenda (if its real)- pretend that Su and Peter have big-ish roles in the movie, when in reality Susan’s screentime is about 30 seconds, if that. Not sure about Peter, but I think he’s the same as far as screentime goes.
Susan is wearing high heels! Kinda goes along about how Lewis describes her in the book.
Um, I love this poster, but I’m not liking the ‘Peter and Susan’ thing. Does this mean they have bigish parts?
cont. bigish parts in the movie?
(sorry about that. typo.)
But it looks like Susan is in an English skirt and blouse. What do you think?
I am not sure what this is. If it is fan art, they must be expert photo shoppers. But why would the sail be half raised? Aslan to me looks a bit faked. Oh, and the witch is on it. Yipee(says sarcastically). Then again , think back to a few months ago with that promo material we thought could have been real posters. It is just promo material, not an official poster.
