Matthew Reynolds – administrator
Matthew, known as “Poggin” on the forum, is co-administrator and webmaster of Aslan’s Country. He became a fan of Narnia after watching the BBC videos as a child. Because of their love for Narnia, he and some friends decided to start Aslan’s Country in December 2008, and it quickly grew. Matthew is also a web designer and has created many other websites. When not working on Aslan’s Country or designing websites, he enjoys playing piano and composing music.
Hannah Dokupil – administrator
Hannah, known as “Tru” on the forum (formerly true_narnia_forever), is the co-administrator of Aslan’s Country. She grew up reading the Chronicles and has always loved Narnia, but her love for Narnia grew when she began to work with Aslan’s Country. The first movie she ever saw in theaters was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005). Tru enjoys playing piano and teaching herself guitar.
Susanofgp – news reporter
Susanofgp is a news reporter and has loved Narnia for as long as she can remember. She is a Christian and a homeschool graduate who enjoys dancing, reading, sewing, scrapbooking, coaching speech, filmmaking, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite Narnia books are LWW, HHB, and LB; and her favorite characters are Aslan, Susan Pevensie, and King Tirian. In 2006, she directed and acted in a movie version of LWW with friends. In 2009, while competing in the NCFCA speech league, she gave an expository speech about the hidden meanings of Narnia. She is currently also sewing an authentic Susan archery dress. ~Psalm 44:4-8~.
Cyclops – news reporter and moderator
Cyclops is a news reporter and forum moderator on Aslan’s Country. He joined the site in 2009 when asked by his good friend Poggin. He has eight brothers and sisters, so his ears are fashioned to tune in to different frequencies of loud. Cyclops became a Narnia fan when he first read the Narnia books, then later saw the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe trailer, watched it every day for nearly two months, and saw the movie. He is captivated by C. S. Lewis’ books and the recent film adaptations. His interests include jokes, laughing, mint Tic Tacs, web design, writing fanfiction, animation, computers, filming, and anything Narnia-related. Cyclops owns a Dawn Treader poster in which he takes great pride, and a wardrobe full of a Narnia collection. He plans on being a Narnia fan well into the future.
Georgiefan – moderator
Georgiefan has been a forum moderator on Aslan’s Country since it began. He first heard about Narnia when he saw The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in 2005. He then searched for Narnia related topics on the Internet and started to read the books. A Christian and the son of a pastor, Georgiefan lives at the North Sea in the Netherlands and enjoys going on holiday to other countries. His dream is traveling through the United States and New Zealand. His hobbies include anything related to Narnia, the Internet and the Efteling, his favourite amusement park in the Netherlands. Georgiefan enjoys watching movies and listening to music, especially soundtracks. His favourite movies are The Chronicles of Narnia and Avatar. Georgiefan wants to become a teacher at a primary school. This fall, he began his first semester at college.
MinotaurforAslan – moderator
MinotaurforAslan is a forum moderator on Aslan’s Country. He has been a fan of the Narnia books ever since he read them when he was 9 years old. He is currently a junior in high school, and hopes to work in teaching or in film. Outside of school, he likes to read about the future and deep space. He also has a passion for playing music, and enjoys doing covers of popular songs and playing the piano, trumpet, and baritone.
Nioniel – moderator
Nioniel is a forum moderator on Aslan’s Country. She read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe at a very young age, but only truly fell in love with The Chronicles of Narnia when she listened to an audio book of The Horse and His Boy with her dad while on a road trip. She is a Christian, homeschooled, has seven siblings, and lives in Canada. Nio is an employee of Tim Hortons but prefers coffee made at home. She enjoys reading, photography, and listening to music. She will graduate high school in 2011, and hopes to study elsewhere than her hometown to become a librarian, as a solution to her longing for adventure.
Rishda – moderator
Rishda is a forum moderator on Aslan’s Country. He has been a fan of the Narnia books before he could even understand them. Since then he has memorized more history, quotes, locations, names, and miscellaneous Narnia facts than anyone else he knows. When not reading the series for the hundredth time or debating with his sister Hannah (admin) over the pros and cons of each movie, his interests include making movies with his friends, writing and drawing his own comics, and watching Pixar movies. He is the owner and CEO of Snowtop Studios, a small filmmaking company he founded in 2004. He also enjoys competing in speech and debate (and quotes Narnia frequently in debate rounds) and recently performed a duo interpretation with his friend on The Horse and His Boy. One could call him “mildly obsessed.”
